We’re Cory and Margaux, the proud dog parents behind The Woof Wash—your local dog grooming salon in Melrose, MA.
Our journey started with a simple goal: to find the highest quality care for our own pup, Ava. That pursuit led us to build The Woof Wash, a space where every dog is treated with the same love, patience, and attention we expect for our own.
As longtime Melrose residents, we’re proud to serve this incredible community and nearby towns like Wakefield, Malden, Stoneham, Woburn, and Reading. We built The Woof Wash on the belief that every dog deserves ethical, low-stress grooming from people you can trust.
From nail trims and deshedding to specialized care for puppies, seniors, and anxious pups—we treat every dog like family, because to us, they are.
Our Philosophy
At The Woof Wash, we’re on a mission to make grooming better for every dog. We believe grooming should never be rushed, forced, or stressful. That’s why we created our dog-first approach rooted in empathy, trust, and gentle handling.
We treat every dog like they’re our own. From the moment they walk in, they’re offered treats, kind words, and reassuring pets. Whether it’s their first visit or their fiftieth, we want tails wagging—not tucking.
We believe grooming should feel just as good for pet parents as it does for their dogs.
That’s why we keep you in the loop with updates during your pup’s visit—whether it’s a mid-bath photo, a quick selfie with your groomer, or a text just to let you know they’re doing great. We want you to feel connected every step of the way.
You’ll often find our owners on the floor, checking in on dogs between grooms, chatting with clients, and making sure every pup (and every groomer) feels safe, supported, and calm. We don’t believe in high-volume, assembly-line grooming. We believe in doing right by the dog in front of us.
